[Jxplorer-users] Window "furnishings" gone(?)

On SuSE Linux 10 (Java 1.4.2_11), the jXplorer install runs fine,
installs to ~/jxplorer just fine. When I launch it, it comes up on quite
a large window without the bounding box with its iconify/maximize/close
button or resizing function. I can close it from the file menu but when
I do anything with the application, the application window flashes
multiple times. I THINK it ran fine some time ago and wonder if
something stepped on a Java setting somewhere(?).

Hi Marty,

I don't think we've changed anything recently that would do that
- there's a sample 'swing' application I think that ships with the
java SDK that exercises most of the controls; you could try running
that and see whether it comes up strangely too - this would tell you
whether there was a strangeness in your java install :-).
