Hi Nigel,

in 3.3 we attempt to retrieve *all* operational attributes by
requesting the '+' attribute, which should return all operational

Hi Nigel,

I'll test against AD next week and see what I can find; a very brief
browse on the web indicates that AD may not support the '+' attribute
syntax, in which case we may need to do something special for Microsoft :-/.

Hi Nigel,

it looks like AD only returns the DN (?) if it's asked to return
operational attributes using the '+' operator. I'll have a play around and
see if I can support AD smoothly as well as normal directories.

Sorry the new version doesn't work as well as the old one for AD!
