[Jxplorer-users] problem starting jxplore

Hi,
I canot start the software, I get this error-message:


Fatal Application Error

Unable to Launch Java Application

Unable to locate the application 'main' calss. The calss
'com.ca.directory.jxplore.JXplorer' must be a public and have a 'public
static void main(String[]/ method. (LAX)


What does this mean?

I am using Windows XP with SP2

HI Paul,

have you successfully installed JXplorer, or is this the message you get
when you run the installer? What version of java are you running? (The
installer doesn't work on java 1.6 - you'd need to get the deploy.zip
download from the sourceforge site).

Otherwise, if you've already installed, try running jxplorer.bat from a
console window and let us know what the console window shows...
