Hi there,

Is it possible to set a specific java path using the installer ?

Something similar to:
JXv3.2_install_windows.exe -Djava.path=c:\opt\jre\bin

I can't modify the PATH environment variable of Windows.

Thanks,
Emanuele

Hi Emanuele,

I don't think so... but why do you need to? On windows the java
installer should do this for you; once you've installed java you
should be able to type, say, >java -version at the command line and
get a valid response wherever you've installed it.

If you need to use different java VMs at different times, you're
probably better off using the jxplorer.bat file and adjusting the
path there. (You could also hack the link the installer creates I
guess...)

hope that helps,

- Chris
