[Jxplorer-users] Installation problem

When trying to install jxplorer I get always the attached error message.

I'm using ubuntu dapper and tryed as user and as root. It's always the same.

It would be very nice if somebody could help!

Hi Angela,

There have been posts in the past on this issue that may be
relevant - from Sergio Gelato:

"This is using the gnu.gcj implementation of Java, not your Sun JRE
1.5.0_06.
I think you can fix that by changing the value of lax.nl.current.vm in
JXplorer_LDAP_Browser.lax; but if in doubt, study the shell script."

otherwise I'm afraid I'm not much of a linux expert - you can
check some of the past posting about JXplorer on Linux at http://
sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=55394 , or you may have more luck
installing the .tar.gz deploy file and running the shell script
(downloadable at: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?
group_id=55394 ).
