most likely you have just included the short name of the admin,
e.g. 'Admin', whereas you will need the full distinguished name, e.g.
something like 'cn=admin,ou=administrators,c=us'.
(There's probably more info on the openldap mailing list about
what the default settings are; check your cn=config setting from
memory :-) ).

I can connect to my OpenLDAP data anonymously, but I want to make
modifications with Jxplorer. Supplying my OpenLDAP admin name and
password in the Connect dialogue box gives an error
[LDAP: error code 34 - invalid DN]
Can you advise me what is wrong?
