Hi Hayden,

thanks heaps for the feedback! I really need to scratch together some
time to look at this properly :-/.

Just to clarify, were you unzipping the file
"jxworkbench-3.3.02-osx.zip"?

(Because the whacky thing is I just unpacked that on OSX 10.6 and it
*is* set to 755, like it's supposed to be... nonetheless if this fixes the
problem on OSX 10.7/10.8 that's good info!)

cheers,

- Chris
Hi Chris, I just installed the Mac version of jxplorer for my boss and
found that he was unable to run the app directly after installing. I found
a conversation between you and another user on the sourceforge forum
discussing MacOS startup issues, it appears that we were seeing similar
messages...

/Applications/jxplorer-3.3.02.app/Contents/MacOS/jxplorer was not set as
executable. We changed it with: "chmod 755 jxplorer" and now the app
launches without problems. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing to
do since I'm not a Mac developer, but for us it worked. We made no other
changes. I just thought it might be useful to let you know.
Cheers,
Hayden.
