Hi Chris,

looks like you're using gcj - I think we've had compatibility
problems with that in the past. I'm afraid JX is only tested against
the Sun runtime...

Please ensure that you have appropriate "xhost" access to the machine
you are
running this from. Make sure the DISPLAY environment variable is set
correctly.
Otherwise, ask your Unix Systems Administrator for more information
on running
X Windows applications.

If you require more information run "jxplorer.sh console" and check the
error produced.

Thanks for your quick reply.. after I run the "sh jxplorer.sh" this
is what I get.... something w/Java???
The installer isn't very good - we're trying to source a new one.
In the meantime, go to the sourceforge site and download the
'deploy.tar.gz' file, unpack it and use the jxplorer.sh script to
start it and it should work fine!
